Our global client is has a challenging opportunity for a Senior Facilities Co-ordinator for their Solihull site.
This role will be responsible for the reactive and planned maintenance and services that support the core business to include facilities and property management, managing contractors.
Key Responsibilities
To provide a safe environment for all by undertaking tasks including:
  • Working with senior management to produce and plan for project offices and internal fit-out to include procurement, planning and design
  • Overall operational responsibility for day to day running of hard service contracts to include delivery of planned and reactive maintenance and equipment
  • Forward planning and management of finances of all hard service contracts including responsibility for achieving financial targets, budget management and review
  • Regular review of contracts to include monthly meetings/quarterly reviews and reports
  • Regular review and auditing of Service Level Agreements
  • All legal compliance to include H&S, energy, quality and environmental in line with responsibilities as outlined in the firm's Management System
  • Responsible for negotiating hard service contracts/agreement with suppliers with support from the Business Services Manager, working with purchasing to produce recommendations for FM to sign off
  • Manage building security, CCTV and access control
Qualifications and Experience
  • 5 years minimum relevant experience in maintenance
  • Degree or business-specific qualification such as IWFM (BIFM) Diploma
  • City & Guilds un Trade or Building services
  • IOSH
  • NEBOSH
  • Good experience in all-round knowledge of various engineering disciplines such as electrical, mechanical, civil or facilities.
  • The successful candidate will have co-ordinated and managed building maintenance
