Senior Commercial Account Handler / Broker

Location: Yorkshire

Salary: £28,000 – £32,000

Our client is a growing multi-office brokerage with a client first approach to doing business, due to their growth they are looking to add a client focused Senior Commercial Account Handler to join their team in South Yorkshire

You'll be dealing with a varied client portfolio of larger and more bespoke Commercial clients for the directors as well as managing some cases exclusively

The role will be dealing with clients across all area's including initial enquiry through to putting them on cover and everything in between and managing existing clients through queries on their existing coverage, MTA's, preparation of Renewal and Quotation documentation, checking coverage levels are still adequate and advising on altering them as required.

Advising clients on renewal terms and negotiating with Insurers and MGA's to secure beneficial terms

Identifying and maximising Cross-selling opportunities.

About you:

You should already have exposure to dealing with Commercial Insurance and be looking to join a progressive and focused business to develop your career.

Exposure to a variety of Commercial Insurance products including Commercial Property, Liability, Fleet and some Private Client exposure would be beneficial.

You should be comfortable handling cases in excess of £50,000 premium on a daily basis with exposure to managing complex client portfolio's

Experience of dealing with day to day policy alterations, renewals, preparation of new business presentations to insurers.

Develop and maintain positive client relationships

Able to manage a varied caseload by effective diary management

Insurance qualifications are beneficial but not essential
