City, Newcastle Upon Tyne Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited Planning & Property Manager Permanent - Tyne & Wear £44,500 + benefits Hays Property are delighted to be partnering with a North East Healthcare Provider to recruit a Planning and Property Manager. This role will be to provide and manage an efficient and effective planning function for the organisation's projects, encompassing capital planning, project management and a full commissioning service. Candidates must have significant experience at a senior level in a complex provider organisation. The successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate a strong track record of working with multiple stakeholders and knowledge of the operation of clinical departments and relationships between specialities. Key aspects of the role will be to provide a lead role in detailed medical planning working with clinical users and the design teams to produce plans for clinical accommodation. To manage the programmes of lease renewals, rent reviews, service charges and other leasehold time-related matters and ensuring the supporting property database is maintained, accurate and up to date. To advise colleagues and clients on property management matters, linking closely with legal advisors to ensure that the organisation minimises its exposure to risks arising from its occupation of leased accommodation. The successful candidate should also be able to demonstrate the achievement of ambitious targets and implement innovative solutions within financial constraints. You will also need to prove extensive experience liaising with both internal and external stakeholders. To be successful in this role you will need to be qualified to degree level in an Estates related discipline, professionally registered to MRICS or MCIOB and have a proven track record of operating at a senior level within an Estates role in public or complex commercial organisation.
